Ementa: Abordar as dimensões física, social e ecológica da vulnerabilidade costeira e marinha, associado aos riscos, impactos e às respostas de gestão. Debater e aprofundar os conceitos de vulnerabilidade e risco, além de outros conceitos correlatos. Compreender a dinâmica, complexidade e inter-relação dos processos geobiofísicos dos ambientes costeiros e marinhos. Apresentar os principais tipos de uso e ocupação das zonas costeiras, seus conflitos e suas fragilidades. Discutir a formulação de indicadores e índices e o papel das mudanças climáticas nos estudos de vulnerabilidade costeira. Conhecer as principais respostas de gestão costeira e a inserção da temática da vulnerabilidade e dos riscos nos instrumentos e nas políticas relacionados à zona costeira.
